polaroid sx70

“In October 2008 The Impossible Project saved the last Polaroid production plant for Integral Instant film in Enschede (NL) and started to re-invent and re-produce a new intant film for traditional Polaroid Cameras.

Polapremium SX-70 cameras are NOT new, but we did our very best to make them look and function like unused cameras. Nevertheless we cannot avoid that some cameras will have some minor cosmetic signs of their former usage.” - the impossible project

i ♥ blair

"i suddenly realised it. the way to get over you, wasn't by hooking up with some random guy or pretending like we didn't happen. you and i loved each other, and then you broke my heart. i've been doing everything possible not to face that fact. i'm going to kiss somebody some day, and when i do, it'll be for me." - blair waldorf

ld tuttle

"LD Tuttle was started in 2005 by Tiffany Tuttle and her husband Richard Lidinsky. Before starting the company Tiffany graduated from F.I.T and went to Paris to work for Givenchy alongside Alexander McQueen. Mrs. Tuttle moved back to New York and worked as an apparel designer for Rebecca Taylor. After designing the shoes for Rebecca Taylor’s runway show Tiffany changed her focus to accessories and studied footwear design and patternmaking at Ars Sutoria. Tiffany also designed the heels for the VPL and Peter Pilotto runway shows and collaborated with Nicole and Michael Colovos on Helmut Lang’s 2008 footwear collection." - rawshoes

abici bicycles

loving these italian made abici bicycles. so cute. the four digit tag is very much out of my price range. although, i do think one of these bikes would fit perfectly with my collective future means of transport - 1) a mini cooper; 2) a vespa; 3) an abici bicycle. makes me all giddy thinking about it.

a dear friend of mine is currently constructing a flip flop hub road bike for me at the moment. i applaud him on his efforts in dealing with my indecisive nature (two brakes or one brake? cable guides or clean frame? basket or no basket? black or pastel? matte or shiny finish? ... and then some). this bike will do for now. looking forward to riding fixie styles, not on the road obviously, probably just at the park - might learn how to track stand. fun. 'tis extremely sweet that i live close enough to the city to go for leisurely rides to the state library and city parks. shall be fun. can't wait.
